Did Nostradamus predict that 2009 would be this filled with questionable trends? We’ve had an unpleasing amount of cold-weather days, a crazy number of pregnancies, and disappointing recession-fueled layoffs. My theory is that everything is intertwined… It’s cold outside–so the unemployed fill up their free time with baby-making. Sounds about right, no?
Another trend I noticed is that many people (myself included) have been inundated with weddings this Fall. With the immediacy and accessibility of Facebook photo albums, it’s too easy to be caught wearing the same dress at multiple weddings. Funny how technology can lead to our wardrobe’s demise!
