MEATY QUESTIONS:
What made you decide to seek out wardrobe therapy/personal shopping/styling services?:
If I was dressing up, I’d look like a temp and if I was dressing casually, I looked like I was on my way to the gym. The problem was not that I lacked decent clothes, but that I didn’t know how to use them for the forces of good.
What’s the most surprising thing you learned from the wardrobe therapy/personal shopping/styling experience?:
How easy it was to take contrasting styles and mix them up for a stylish outfit that felt true to my own tastes. Also, that a lot of the pieces in my closet could have a second life by re-inventing how they were worn.
How useful did you find the consultation? Or what’s the most useful piece of advice you learned from the consultation?:
Cindy was quick and efficient in assessing the strengths of my wardrobe and how to give it a more contemporary edge. Cindy taught me how to shop for myself and to be bold in trying new ways of wearing old clothes.
Anything else you want my potential clients to know?:
Cindy’s work is not merely a makeover, but a re-education. She teaches you how to capitalize on the wardrobe that you already own, providing you with the knowledge of how to best buy clothes in the future, both stylistically and economically. Most importantly, she builds off of your lifestyle and preferences.
