…my fashion compass and coach who inspires me to step outside of my wardrobe’s comfort zone… and who gives me the confidence to know that it won’t all end in some horrible fashion faux pas!”

MEATY QUESTIONS:

What made you decide to seek out wardrobe therapy/personal shopping/styling services?:
I appreciate the fashion choices made by others, but don’t have instincts on where to invest, take risks, or find new things to try. I needed guidance. I grew up in a very conservative town and wear that type of clothing by default. I wanted help getting unstuck because I’m not as expressive as I want to be.

What’s the most surprising thing you learned from the wardrobe therapy/personal shopping/styling experience?:
The secrets of layering. It’s a concept that was entirely foreign to me. I didn’t do it at all. I needed help to see that I could use things that already existed in my closet.

How useful did you find the consultation? Or what’s the most useful piece of advice you learned from the consultation?:
Being bolder and taking chances. Aside from purging dated pieces of clothing that I had when I was 15, I have a new confidence in trying new things, drawing outside the lines and knowing I won’t be criticized for it. There was a lingering doubt that if I took fashion risks, I’d make a horrible mistake–but no longer am afraid of that.

Anything else you want my potential clients to know?:
Cindy is awesome. People should know that.
